Let’s Get Growing

Tomorrow I’m meeting up with a kid from Lowell who’s going to help co-produce my first proper record. He’s good at what he does and I’m happy to be working with him. I’ll be cutting the cost of the album dramatically and sacrificing the professionalism that Ian at Echoroom would have brought to the table, but I think the end result will prove to be much more cohesive and well thought out. Plus, this way I’ll be able to afford to tour more often this spring/summer and still put out a quality record.

A lot of the songs are old, but I’m really trying to push the envelope with them as much as I can and create something unique and lasting. Hopefully it will be well received. These songs can be very personal at times. Needless to say I’m excited for the outcome and I can’t wait to get started. I have so many ideas floating around right now. It’s been hitting me hard lately and I’m feeling inspired.

I already have a lot of rough drafts in the works for new music and the next record including some new From This Moment On tunes and I’m prepared to give it my all.

Lately I’ve been feeling extremely motivated, inspired, creative, ambitious, and proud, and I couldn’t ask for more.
